Helium is a lightweight AUv3 MIDI sequencer plugin crafted specifically for AUM. It boasts support for up to 16 tracks of unlimited length, with the flexibility to route output to 16 channels across 16 MIDI output ports.

One notable feature is the incorporation of Helium's 'Media Bay', allowing users to import and manage libraries of MIDI clips. These clips, readily accessible online, encompass individual chord sets, progressions, and drum tracks. Constructing a composition is seamless by simply dragging and dropping MIDI clips from the media bay onto your timeline. Additionally, you have the option to save your custom clips directly to the media bay to curate personal MIDI clip collections. By long-pressing on a clip, you can preview its contents using the currently selected MIDI device.

Helium now ships with a vast library comprising over 7000 MIDI clips, covering every chord and progression imaginable.

Moreover, Helium offers various methods for importing additional MIDI clip libraries. Users can easily drag and drop ZIP collections into their PC/MAC web browsers for automatic unpacking into the clips library folder. Alternatively, files can be transferred between the Media Bay and iOS Files app through drag and drop functionality.

A standout feature of Helium is the 'Remote Looping' sync mode, recently introduced in their MultiTrack Recorder plugin. This function is invaluable for dividing timelines into sections. Users can define up to 12 loops to pinpoint sections like intros, verses, choruses, and outros within a song, subsequently triggering these loops seamlessly in sync with the host tempo. Once captured, these loops can be activated by incoming MIDI notes.

Another recent enhancement entails the ability to assemble loops into complete songs, enabling users to focus on crafting individual sections like verses, choruses, and bridges without the hassle of rearranging the timeline.
